Community Ambassador
Givny works street by street. An item three kilometres away is a real errand; an item in your own neighbourhood is a five-minute walk. That means growth is not national — it is one town at a time, until enough neighbours are on it that there is always something worth collecting nearby.
We are recruiting ambassadors to own a specific area and make it the place where Givny actually works.
Areas we are opening now: Dansoman, Tema, Madina, Kasoa, Spintex, Achimota, Takoradi and Kumasi. If your area is not listed and you think it should be, apply anyway and tell us why.
Why this role exists
A marketplace with ten items spread across Greater Accra is useless to everyone. A marketplace with fifty items inside Dansoman is worth opening every day. Your job is to get your area past that line.
What you get

What you’ll do
- Own signups, listings and completed handovers in your assigned area
- Get the first fifty active members in your area — the point where it becomes useful to everyone
- Build relationships with churches, mosques, estate associations, salons, pharmacies and community WhatsApp groups
- Run local pushes: end-of-month moving periods, spring cleaning, back-to-school
- Be the human face when a handover goes wrong, and tell us why it did
- Report weekly on signups, listings and handovers, and on what is blocking them
What we’re looking for
- You live in the area you are applying for and know it well
- Confident talking to shopkeepers, landlords, estate committees and community leaders
- A smartphone and reliable data
- Roughly 10 to 15 hours a week
- Trusted locally, or willing to become so. This role only works on trust
- Twi, Ga, Ewe, Fante or Hausa alongside English is a strong advantage depending on the area
