Growth
Campus Ambassador
Givny is a free marketplace where neighbours pass on things they no longer need. We are looking for students to build it on their own campus.
This is the clearest growth opportunity we have. University campuses are dense, seasonal and full of people with the same need in the same week: a kettle in August, a mattress to get rid of in June. Someone on the ground turns that from a coincidence into a habit.
Open to students at any university in Ghana — Legon, KNUST, UCC, UPSA, UDS, Ashesi, Central, UENR, technical universities, private institutions. If you are enrolled and you are on campus, you can do this.
What this is really about
Acquisition. You are not doing brand awareness — you are getting real students to list real items and collect them. We measure signups, first listings, and completed handovers on your campus, and you are paid partly on those.
What you get
- Monthly stipend, plus a bonus tied to signups and completed handovers
- A reference and a named role you can put on a CV
- Direct access to the team building the product, and real influence on it
- First access to anything we run on your campus
What you’ll do
- Grow signups and first listings on your campus, with monthly targets we set together
- Run the move-in and move-out pushes in August and June, when demand is highest
- Organise small campus activations: hall visits, SRC and JCR partnerships, orientation stands
- Recruit and support a handful of hall reps so coverage does not depend on you alone
- Get to know student groups, hall executives and departmental associations
- Report weekly on what worked and what did not, in plain language
- Feed student complaints and confusion straight back to the product team
What we’re looking for
- Currently enrolled at a university in Ghana, with at least one academic year remaining
- Genuinely well connected on campus — you know hall executives and student groups, or you can
- Comfortable approaching people you do not know and explaining something simply
- Reliable with a weekly report and a WhatsApp reply
- Roughly 8 to 10 hours a week around your studies
- No prior experience needed. We care that you follow through, not what you have done before
